Caitlin had a very very hard time with potty training. She did eventually move to regular panties, but I used Always pantyliners in her undies until she was nearly done with kindergarten because she would leak. I also had to take away all the bubble bath. Something about some little girls and bubble bath just don't mix well. I'm sorry you're having such troubles with Georgia. Hang in there.Sunrunnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09156374993056097521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31042805.post-80372575756186024242008-04-16T00:14:00.000-02:002008-04-16T00:14:00.000-02:00Someone left a comment on my blog the other day an...Someone left a comment on my blog the other day and said something about just keep in mind that they won't wear a diaper forever and they'll eventually get it. *LOL* Wanna bet???

I really wanted to have Tyler trained before baby sister gets here, but I just don't think it's going to happen.Crazy Working Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12323941603495204996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31042805.post-40869675992133233712008-04-15T17:27:00.000-02:002008-04-15T17:27:00.000-02:00I love the Georgia Potty Tales!I love the Georgia Potty Tales!Mo and The Purrieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16654573008006116939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31042805.post-89903990961024064432008-04-15T17:04:00.000-02:002008-04-15T17:04:00.000-02:00We tried everything under the sun to get my DD pt'...We tried everything under the sun to get my DD pt'd. Run around naked, no pants, panties, training pants, reading books while on the potty, singing, bribing with candy, sticker charts...you name it, we did it. Finally I just gave up and decided to wait. About two months later, we went to visit my parents in Texas and my mom said to DD "If you go on the big girl potty, I'll give you candy!" She's been going ever since! I guess she just wasn't ready. Don't despair. Georgia will get there. She may just not be ready yet...it's frustrating though, isn't it, when we're ready for something and they aren't.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31042805.post-31431261259062972382008-04-15T14:39:00.000-02:002008-04-15T14:39:00.000-02:00Oh yes, I think I read every potty book in existen...Oh yes, I think I read every potty book in existence when trying to train Hannah - who was not completely potty trained and accident-free until age 5 (yes, that's a FIVE)! I am dreading starting the process all over again with Becca this summer. I seem to also be cursed with children who don't care if they're wet and would happily go all day with wet pants. Sigh.

Good luck!!Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03806252705199445407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31042805.post-44617269563571237432008-04-15T14:02:00.000-02:002008-04-15T14:02:00.000-02:00oh gotta love all those potty training books, advi...oh gotta love all those potty training books, advice from family members and strangers, and the pediatrician 2 cents too. Throw that crap out the window!!! I FINALLY have my 3 1/2 year trained. At least we are hoping...he has gone 12 days with no accidents. I have tried every imaginable trick out there and then some. They will do it when they are ready. Our approach was to RELAX with the whole potty training thing. We did keep him in big boy undies and pull-ups at night. Yes...we had mess after mess. This new stradgy took a month for him to pee in the potty and about 6 months until he decided that poop belongs in the toilet. I have one that will be two this week...we will try and start him on the potty.Vickyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03637013340045655467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31042805.post-27972193343992770102008-04-15T09:53:00.000-02:002008-04-15T09:53:00.000-02:00The thing is that the kids don't read the books.
