Well as long as she gets it that's all that matters, not how.
Just give them the 'Talk To The Hand' and go on. They will always have something to comment on. I have a 2 1/2 year old that is in the midst of potty training (when she feels like it) too and I'm SO tired of everyone asking how it's going, saying we should do this or do that, blah blah. Some days she does great and will tell us when she needs the potty, she wears pull ups (big girl undies) when she does and other days, like today, she just goes in her diaper all day long. Some people say if they go on the potty then to stick them in real undies and if they feel pee run down their leg they won't like it and will learn. My stay-home-hubby doesn't want to do that though, I guess if I was the one home who had to clean that up I'd say no way too...hang in there, from what I hear from EVERYONE is "she'll get it eventually, you don't see kids go off to kindergarten in diapers they all get it eventually". I hope she gets it before preschool starts next fall. :)Not So Anonymous Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09124270202359921566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31042805.post-69674239608483117412008-01-16T01:13:00.000-02:002008-01-16T01:13:00.000-02:00All I can say is I'm sorry!!! I didn't go through the potty training questionnaire by others but my son had a pacifier until he was older and every single person had a stupid opinion on that.

Unless they wanted to spend the day with him without it then they should shut up. One day he threw it out himself and never looked back.

maggie@coffeeshopmafia.comwiththanksgivinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03214642790197182781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31042805.post-51589850001248135522008-01-15T07:50:00.000-02:002008-01-15T07:50:00.000-02:00I've found, through my own kids and ones I've baby...I've found, through my own kids and ones I've babysat, that boys are easier. You can make a game of it with boys... "Look, aim at that tire like the dog does" (I've always lived in the country), or, "Here, pee on that stick." Girls don't have anything to point. Takes the fun out of things.

Listen, I've seen very bright kids that wore diapers until they were three, or older. If you can afford the diapers and don't mind changing them, don't worry about what anybody tells you. Eventually she WILL train herself.Donna.
